Word for Wednesday: Hair

I've been pinning hairstyles like crazy. There has only been one time in my life that I had long hair - and that was the year leading up to and three weeks after my wedding. Every time my hair touched my shoulders, I like it for - oh - ten minutes - and then it becomes an easy feature to change. So, I change it. And then I spend a year regretting it, tired of my hair only half-growing, and then cut it again.
i have wavy-straight hair which I've only learned to appreciate in the last 8 years or so...

It's an awful cycle. One that I am going to break. I've been diligently getting a true trim every eight weeks and have been all  PLEASE BARELY CUT ANYTHING OFF. I realize my problem is that when my hair makes it to the in-between length I lose patience and just chop it off again. I found a really amazing stylist a little over a year ago - and have yet to receive a bad haircut. She knows my end-goal is to get it long again and we both have the same fine-but-a-lot-of-it hair. She's been patient with me and since I have the slowest growing hair in the world - I need patience.

As my hair gets more and more in-between, I need some inspiration, like this:

I want to be ponytail length and then some by summer. Fingers crossed.

  1. Hmmm, the hair debacle. I have been trying to get my hair to grow past shoulder level for eons!!!!! I have kind of given up.

Have a "pact" with your stylist not to chop off your hair no matter how much you insist
